Review: Women's Justin Gypsy Boot
As per Boot Barn's Listing:
Go western with the authentic western boots you can trust. Justin delivers with their Gypsy line. These boots have an 8" shaft height, a walking heel, and round toe. They are equipped with the J-Flex comfort system which generates return energy by the leather-covered cushioned insole and triple density insole board. Pair with true denim and a plaid button up for a complete outfit. The removable orthotic insert gives an extra layer of cushioning for extra comfort.
Style(s): L9610 (Pink Camo)
I wear a size 8B in these boots. Which is pretty true to size for me, as I normally wear an 8 to 8 1/2 shoe size depending on style.
These boots are currently listed as ~$85 to $90 at Boot Barn.
I chose the Pink camo variety. The Gypsy boot line has a variety of colors available.
The shaft of the boots have held up very well. They are not floppy or caved in. The pink camo portion is easy to wipe clean doesn't really show dirt anyways. The pink on mine is still quite bright. The pink contrast stitching on the toe of my boot is quite dirty and no longer evident. But the stitching is holding up regardless of its color loss. I find these boots quite comfortable. They sport round toes and don't pinch at all. I did water proof the leather portion of these boots upon purchase with a boot spray. The leather remains its original color. I use these boots to do yard work, ride, and muck. I have put in two fences, a hitching post, tagged cows, and worked horses in these boots. They never make my feet hurt and I don't recall ever having a single blister from them, even during the "breaking in" phase.
In my experience with Justin, their boots last a long time. And considering how much these boots have suffered and still look good, I expect these boots to keep kicking for a while.
I will say, I live in Texas. These boots work great for me because it warm here.
In the cold and rainy climates, these boots would not be the best choice, as they are not water proof, nor are they insulated for proper warmth in winter.
Summary:
